Yvonne Nelson, a Ghanaian actress, has stated that she does not believe in love because none of the men in her life have ever loved her.
According to the actress, the affection she exhibits to the men in her life is not reciprocated, and they approach her as a result of a situation.
In an interview with Power FM, Yvonne Nelson declared that love is a con because she has never been loved before. She characterized love as a sensation she had never felt before, to the point that it was frequently conditional based on her experiences.
“Isn’t it true that love is a swindle (in reality) and we all know it?”
“I think love is a con because we are all deceptive,” she continued.
If someone talks about love, they are looking for something, whether it is money or sex; it is conditional, so it is a scam.” When asked if she had ever been loved, Yvonne Nelson replied, “I’m not sure I’ve ever been loved.
When you look back, you’ll see that it was because of this that he entered my life.
I’m not convinced.
“I feel that the love I want to communicate to the other person, they don’t have the love to give back,” she continued.
So it’s not that I’ve canceled it or that I’ll never fall in love, but I don’t think there’s someone out there who can give me the same, it’s always conditional”. “First and foremost, I consider friendship; I should be able to…
We should be friends, someone I want to spend the rest of my life with, and if you get along, the rest will fall into place.”
In her perspective, men have frequently lied to women through the medium of love: “It is just a means of telling you that I want something from you and so they just use the term love and it is typically the ladies that are lied to by the guys.”
“Love, I am sorry, I am not there yet,” she said when asked if she was in love.
I used to adore it, but it had become a farce.
“It’s a fraud,” she stated emphatically.
In 2017, Yvonne gave birth to a daughter with her ex-boyfriend Jamie Roberts.
