Samini expressed his dissatisfaction. Sarkodie, on the other hand, responded to the comment in a Hitz FM interview on Tuesday, saying Samini’s utterances must have come from a “particular location” and that he needed further information.

“I have no control over him feeling that way.
“I can only apologize for how he feels, not because I agree with what he says, but because that’s how he feels,” Sarkodie stated.

Shatta Wale, on the other hand, is one of the few Ghanaians who believe Sarkodie might have handled the situation better.

According to Shatta, Samini is Sarkodie’s “father,” who paved the road for him, and it will always be that way, adding that Sark must not forget that and show him the respect he deserves. Shatta Wale who was speaking in a Facebook Live session on Saturday, January 28 was not happy with how Sarkodie keeps ignoring artists who once supported him in the past.

“How can Samini and Sarkodie be fighting? Samini and Sarkodie shouldn’t be fighting but ask yourself why? Right now Sarkodie feels like he has the people so he has forgotten about Samini.

“Hey Sarkodie, Samini be your father, forever and ever. Hey Sarkodie, Samini be your legend, icon, superstar forever and ever. Forget everything, I have a beef with him but even with that, I give him respect. Forget yourself, nonsense!” he said.

Shatta went on to say that he was dissatisfied with what happened at Hitz FM when Samini was called on the phone during Sarkodie’s interview with Andy Dosty.

He pointed out that instead of justifying his actions, Sarkodie should have shown Samini respect by shutting up and listening to him speak. Following his colleague’s disrespect, Samini says he no longer intends to collaborate on a single with rapper Sarkodie.
