With the aid of Ofori Amponsah, Kofi B, Kofi Nti, and Barosky were once the hottest Highlife singers in Ghana.In an unexpected turn of events, Ofori Amponsah claims he now regrets aiding the artists.The seasoned highlife musician claimed that creating songs for other performers during the height of his fame was one of his worst blunders.All of the people around him put out my fire, he claimed.In an interview with TV XYZ, Ofori Amponsah stated that Samini was the first artist to contribute a verse to a song they had recorded together out of all the tracks he had done throughout his career. Mr. All 4 Real, as he was affectionately known by certain fans, claimed writing credit for all but one song on Kofi Nti’s debut album as well as for Kofi B’s monster smash singles Yaw Dompreh, Mmobrowa, and Koforidua.
“If I can reverse everything, I will decide not to help any musician because my help was a shortcut in the careers of a lot of musicians,” he said. According to Ofori Amponsah, he should have set up an office to handle them than openly associating them with his brand.
Ofori Amponsah expresses sadness over the fact that the musicians do not even acknowledge him as the song’s author.
He also denies defrauding them of their fair share of the proceeds from the songs they co-wrote.
