Gospel music icon Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, also known as KODA, will be laid to rest on Friday, September 20, 2024.
The funeral will be place at the KICC Dominion Centre, which is located on Spintex Road near the Coca-Cola Roundabout in Accra.
KODA, who died on Sunday, April 24, 2024, left a significant influence in Ghana’s gospel music landscape. His distinct musical style, which combines deep spirituality with dynamic rhythms, moved many people.


His hit songs include “Hosanna,” “Nsem Pii,” “Made a Way,” and “Aseda.” These recordings, packed with heartfelt worship and praise, continue to be anthems in many Ghanaian churches today.
Family and loved ones will come to honour his life, with attendees encouraged to dress in all-white to represent his spiritual journey and peaceful rest in Christ.
Even after death, KODA’s effect remains. His songs continue to inspire worship and strengthen many people’s faith, establishing a legacy that will be felt for years to come.
