Erling Haaland acknowledged his satisfaction with Manchester City, but he hinted that he might eventually leave the Etihad Stadium.
Haaland signed a contract with City that would run until 2027 after leaving Borussia Dortmund in 2022 as part of a £52 million transfer.
City is keen to get a new deal with the 23-year-old after an amazing 18 months in which he scored 80 goals in 84 games, won the FA Cup, Premier League, and Champions League.
Haaland acknowledged that he feels at ease at the club, but he made no assurances that he wouldn’t eventually leave.

“I’m really happy,” Haaland told a news conference on Tuesday.
“Especially with the people that I’m surrounded with; the manager, the directors, the board, they are a group of amazing people and I’m really happy, I have to say.
“If I say this now it’s probably going to be a massive headline, tomorrow you never know what the future brings, but I’m happy. You can write this but you also have to write everything I said before. I’m happy.”

Haaland has reportedly grown dissatisfied with Manchester despite his on-field success, according to reports in Spain; however, the Norwegian took the opportunity to play down the rumors.

“I enjoy life. I enjoy life with my closest ones and I enjoy it. I don’t know what else to say,”
said Haaland.
City would like to add at least one more season to Haaland’s contract, even though it is still good for more than three years.

He will be 27 years old when his contract ends. He declared that he is only interested in playing for City for the second half of the season and has no interest in staying longer.
“My focus mainly now is on the pitch,” he said.
“There’s a lot of games. Two days ago was the Manchester derby, now Champions League, Sunday is Liverpool, I think I should focus on that. I don’t think I should focus on anything else at the moment.”
