Kaywa, a well-known music producer and CEO of the ‘Highly Spiritual Music label,’ has revealed that he personally bribed people to promote Lasmid’s successful song “Running.”
Kaywa stated in an interview on Joy Prime’s ‘Prime morning’ that he is willing to drive the young act to a higher level in the music industry, citing the need to sacrifice and pay others to promote his songs as justification.
“We went ahead to drop a new song “Running”, and I personally took that song around, I was everywhere trying to push that song, paying to get people to play the song and I came back and said “Running” is out, it’s everywhere, let’s just sign and seal,” he said.
According to Kaywa, after some back and forth over contract signing, they agreed to release a video for the new song while they wait for the necessary witnesses to sign and seal the deal.
“He said ‘my father said I should wait, he wants to come so we sign the contract together and I said fine, your father wants to be your witness, let’s wait for that and see, back and forth, and his father didn’t make it, we shot a video, very expensive video.
“Now we were about to release the video and I said ‘mm tell him to just put a pen on the paper, let’s release the video, it will be awesome,” he stated.
