The management of Mona Faiz Montrage, widely known in showbiz as Mona 4Reall, has begged the public to refute claims that the Ghanaian socialite and entertainer has been convicted and sentenced to ten years in prison in the United States of America.
Management stated in a letter that the supposed Mona 4real stories circulating on online sites are all untrue.
“publications making rounds on social media and news portals of the conviction and 10-year jail sentence of Mona Faiz Montrage and the current detention of her daughter; a minor, by the US authorities” are mere fabrications.
It further stated that the socialite has never been tried or convicted in the United Kingdom, the United States, or anywhere else in the world, and that the public should be cautious. “disregard all such rumors and respect the privacy of Mona and her family.”
According to certain news outlets, Mona 4Reall was apprehended by security authorities in the United Kingdom for an unknown offense.
On Thursday, November 10, 2022, she was believed to have been apprehended by UK Police in conjunction with Interpol at Heathrow Airport.
Mona and her team have been in the United Kingdom for nearly two weeks following her performance at the 2022 Ghana Music Awards UK.
