Manchester United is for sale, and Qatar is interested, but GOAL has heard that the owners of Paris Saint-Germain will not make a buyout proposal.
the Glazer family, who have endured numerous protests against their reign at Old Trafford over an eventful time, have opened themselves up to offers for the Premier League powerhouse.
Interested parties are supposed to have till Friday to submit formal proposals and bank guarantees in order for negotiations to begin.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, a millionaire United supporter and owner of multinational chemicals business Ineos, has claimed to being interested in investing in the Red Devils, but there has also been much talk about alleged interest from the Middle East.

There has been speculation of Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) expanding their portfolio by acquiring United to complement their ownership of Ligue 1 giants PSG, but GOAL understands that they will not be involved.
Any bid from that region may instead come from Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), a sovereign wealth fund chaired by Mohammed ben Abderrahmane Al-Thani, a member of Qatar’s royal family.

It has been suggested that any buyout of United will necessitate a £6 billion ($7.3 billion) deal, with one of the largest brands in world football sure to fetch a higher price than the £4.25 billion ($5.2 billion) paid by Chelsea when Roman Abramovich parted ways with the west London club in 2022.
