The actress discussed her spiritual life and childhood.Toyin Abraham, a Nollywood actress and producer, has disclosed her faith and how she hears voices following the Holy Spirit’s lead.
This was discussed in an interview with Vanessa Obioha for This Day, in which Abraham revealed some information about her childhood.
She stated,”I’m deeply spiritual.
One of my issues back then was that I didn’t listen to myself.
I would hear the Lord’s voice and see it in my dreams, yet I would still want to follow my flesh.
But things have changed dramatically for me since I began following the Holy Spirit’s lead, and I’m overjoyed.
I’m truly a dada, or someone who was born with dreadlocks.”
the actress revealed that her parents abandoned her at birth because she was stillborn, and it needed the intervention of a cleric to bring her back.
In her own words, “I’ve been spiritual since infancy.
My parents informed me that I was stillborn and that they had to discard me.
Then an Ibadan preacher came to the hospital and inquired about me, and I was brought back to life.
I was reported that until the day of my naming ceremony, I never wept or did anything.
I began sobbing as a baby the moment they christened me Oluwatoyin.
When they wanted to shave my hair, they had to tell me it was the Holy Spirit because I didn’t want them to.”
“I opted to have a little circle since there was too much noise in my thoughts,” she explained.
There is always noise around me, both good and bad.
I’m not a cautious person.
My heart is completely free.
You can put your trust in me with anything.
You are free to do whatever you want in my presence.”
