Rudeboy: I should have retired from music by now.

Popular Nigerian singer and composer Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, claims that he and his contemporaries should have retired from music by now.
According to him, musicians used to leave the game after a short time.
During an appearance on the Adesope Live Show, the singer discussed the difficulties of juggling a family life with a music career.

While thinking on the inevitable criticisms and scandals that come with being a successful musician, the ‘Reason With Me’ singer said, “There’s always a time for everything in life. Things will always happen. If you are a celebrity and believe that people will always regard you as an angel, trust me, you are not going anywhere. There are moments when things will be against you. It’s always like that.
“Every top artist has had their share of criticisms and scandals. Even the up-and-coming ones, too, will suffer the same fate someday. It’s a normal thing [in the entertainment industry]. But what matters is your personality and how you handle issues,” he added.
