Stonebwoy will be the first artist of the year to receive paid events from the TGMA.

At the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) Industry Mixer, Robert Klah, Head of Public Events and Communication at Charterhouse Productions Ltd., revealed that the Artist of the Year (AOTY) will receive fully paid events as a prize. This campaign will be launched by the well-known musician Stonebwoy.
“Starting with Stonebwoy, Telecel will fully pay for multiple events for the Artiste of the Year, along with other Telecel products,” Klah said in his remarks at the Industry Mixer.
The TGMA winners were also presented with personalized plaques during this occasion, which represented the categories in which they had won.

The renowned Telecel Ghana Music Awards are a celebration of Ghanaian musical talent, organized by Charterhouse Productions Ltd. and Telecel. The Industry Mixer this year was a fantastic evening thanks to performances by artists such as Stonebwoy and Adane Best.
At the 25th TGMA, Stonebwoy won the “Artist of the Year” title. The Accra International Conference Center’s Grand Arena served as the venue for the event. That was his second Artiste of the Year victory.

The awards ceremony, which took place on June 1, 2024, was a lavish event that Chris Atoh and Naa Ashorkor hosted. Kuami Eugene, Efya Nokturnal, and King Paluta gave outstanding performances. The evening’s high point came when iconic Highlife performer Amakye Dede accepted a lifetime achievement award. Before he hit the stage, other acts sang his songs.
Top nominees for the highly sought-after “Artiste of the Year” title, including Black Sherif, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Nacee, Sarkodie, and Stonebwoy, demonstrated the rich and varied talent in the Ghanaian music scene.
