Stonebwoy wins 2024’s TGMA for “Artist of the Year.”

At the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), Stonewoy took home the “Artist of the Year” title.
The artist is carrying home the trophy for the third time after this victory.
This is his second victory of the evening at the awards, which are being held at the Grand Arena in the Accra International Conference Center.
Notable performers including King Paluta, Efya Nokturnal, and Kuami Eugene graced the stage throughout the evening.

Hosted by Chris Atoh and Naa Ashorkor, the event took place on June 1st, 2024, and featured a lifetime award presentation for legendary highlife artist Amakye Dede. Prior to Dede taking the stage, other performers sang his songs in celebration of him.
The most nominated artists for the prestigious “Artiste of the Year” award include Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Black Sherif, King Promise, Nacee, and Sarkodie.

Banzy Banero, DSL, King Paluta, Maya Blu, Olive the Boy, and Oseikrom Sikani are among the artists nominated for Best New Artist.
Along with three other honors, Black Sherif took home the Artiste of the Year title last year. Afrobeats Song of the Year and Best Collaboration went to Camidoh; Album of the Year went to King Promise for “5 Star,” Hiplife Artiste of the Year went to Sarkodie; and Gospel Song of the Year and Gospel Artiste of the Year went to Piesie Esther.
