Imarana Abdulai Gomda, a suspect, has been taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service in Tamale, Northern Region, for unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.
The culprit was apprehended at Tamale’s Datoyili Barrier on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, according to a social media post [X] made by the Police on Friday, May 31.
He was found to be in possession of two SMG weapons, each holding six rounds of 9MM ammunition, as well as two empty magazines.
While in custody, the suspect is helping the police with their investigations.
