Mason Greenwood, who excelled during his loan stint at Getafe, is one of the contenders for the La Liga Team of the Season in EA Sports FC 24.
Voting is open until May 5 and the English forward, who is on loan from Manchester United, is one of 19 attackers nominated. The list features Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo Goes of Real Madrid in addition to Artem Dovbyk of Girona, who leads the division in goals scored with 19. Since joining Getafe in the summer, Greenwood has excelled in the team’s colors, contributing eight goals and six assists in 29 games in the Spanish premier league.
The continued doubt surrounding Greenwood’s future at Old Trafford is further compounded by his outstanding performances in Spain and TOTS candidacy. Juventus is presently believed to be the front-runners to sign him in the summer, but if appropriate offers do not materialize, United will expect a bid of about £40 million (€46 million/$50 million) and will attempt to extend the forward’s contract, which expires in 2025.
