There have been numerous power outages in a number of locations as a result of the Electricity Company of Ghana’s (ECG) announcement of a reduction in power delivery to its Mobile Bulk delivery Point in the Tema region.
The following communities are impacted by these outages: Otsebreku, Christian International School, The Quarries, and Afienya. In addition, there are power supply interruptions at places including the Ghanaman Soccer Academy, Hot Oven, Melcom, and the Dodowa Switching Station.
The ECG has informed impacted consumers that efforts are being made to restore power in response to the situation. They have made it clear that power would be restored in the impacted areas as soon as GRIDCO is able to start up again.
