Stephen Ayesu Ntim, the National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has made a rallying appeal for party members to unite, emphasizing the communal effort required to win the forthcoming general election in December.
In a greeting to all elected candidates following the Parliamentary Primaries on Saturday, January 27, 2024, Ntim offered his warmest congratulations.
He praised the candidates for their devotion and commitment to the democratic process, emphasizing the importance of their positions within the party.
Recognizing the problems of contested primaries, Ntim admonished freshly elected Members of Parliament to maintain the party’s integrity. He emphasized how important it is for NPP officials to maintain strong ethical standards.
Ntim expressed gratitude to the lost candidates and urged them not to remove themselves from the party’s efforts. Instead, he urged them to remain active contributors, emphasizing the necessity of their continuous involvement in the party’s overall success.
Ntim called for unity and underlined the importance of productive conversation among party members. Regardless of individual differences, he asked legislators to prioritize the welfare of all citizens.
