I can’t marry you if as a lady you can’t make authentic Ghanaian Jollof—Michael Blackson

Ghanaian comedian and actor Michael Blackson, who resides in America, has disclosed that a lady must be an amazing “Jollof” cook in order to be considered for his marriage.
Blackson asserts that a guy cannot settle down with a woman if she is unable of making authentic Ghanaian “Jollof” rice.
The actor made this revelation while chatting to Joy News’ at the one-year anniversary celebration of his school in Agona Nsaba in the Central Region.
“Jollof test. You have to cook jollof and I have to taste it and it has to be great. I hang out with a lot of Nigerians, Sierra Leoneans and even Chinese with fried rice. If my wife cannot represent my country with the perfect Ghana jollof, I can’t marry you,” he said.

Blackson jokingly added that he almost married his housekeeper because she made the most delicious Jollof rice he’s had in a long time.

“I’m so close to marrying my housekeeper. She cooked some jollof the other day. It is part of the best jollof I have had in a very long time,” he stated.
“If your woman can’t cook jollof the right way, leave her now, pack your bags, move, take the children and get out of there.”
