TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana PLC, a renowned global oil and gas industry giant, has won four prestigious awards for their tremendous contributions to the energy sector at the recently concluded 10th edition of the Ghana Oil and Gas Awards (GOGA) held at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel on Friday night in Accra.
The prizes received were Lubricant Product of the Year for the third time in a row, inducting them into the Hall of Fame, Marketing Campaign of the Year, and Oil Marketing Company of the Year.
On the same night, Olufemi Babajide, Managing Director of TotalEnergies Ghana, was named CEO of the Year (Downstream).
The remarkable honors recognized the organization’s outstanding attributes and exceptional devotion to customer quality, as well as its position as a highly renowned corporation pushing for best business practices in the field.
The 2023 Ghana Oil and Gas Awards, organized by Xodus Communications Limited with support from the Ministry of Energy, are the largest industry initiative dedicated to championing excellence and celebrating companies and individuals who have demonstrated exceptional performance in stewardship and exceptional dedication to serving customers. Several dignitaries, including the Deputy Minister of Energy, Andrew Egyapa Mercer, and many other energy policymakers, attended the occasion.
In a post-award interview, TotalEnergies Ghana MD Olufemi Babajide expressed his heartfelt thanks to the whole team, particularly the Board of Directors, for their unwavering support over the years.
According to him, TotalEnergies Ghana has positioned itself as an industry leader, with market credibility and repute, and has established a standard for others to follow.
