Popular Ghanaian rapper Edem, real name Anthony Denning Agbeviadey, has been granted a GH50,000 bail after being charged with assaulting a woman in her forties.
On arriving at Accra’s Police Hospital, the woman was confirmed dead.
He was charged with two counts of reckless and inconsiderate driving and negligently inflicting harm.
The Ghanaian rapper was traveling from Abeka to Spintex Road along the George Walker Bush Highway when the collision occurred, according to the facts of the case.
The ‘Over Again’ hitmaker is alleged to have been driving in the middle lane when he hit the victim a few meters away from the Dimples roundabout.
His request, however, was ignored. He is to reappear on February 15, 2024.
