Ghanaians put pressure on you to release new songs and then forget about them in two weeks – Sefa laments.

Sefa of Black Avenue Muzik has complained about how Ghanaians put pressure on musicians.
According to her, Ghanaians put pressure on local musicians to release new songs while they haven’t finished listening to the tracks that have already been released. She added that Ghanaians have a limited memory span, thus they soon forget about new songs that are made available to them and would rather press musicians for new songs.
Sefa went on to say that Ghanaians put pressure on artists by forcing them to release multiple songs that are quickly forgotten.
During an appearance on TV3’s Ladies Circle, she stated

“With me, because I like enjoying my passion, I want people to enjoy it too. In as much as this is my profession now, I want people to listen to the songs and be like ‘okay she has put out a song so let me consume”.
“Ghanaians have a short memory span. If you release a song today, They can forget it in two weeks and they will be pressuring you for a new one. If you follow them, you will release like thousand songs and they will not know one”.
