MOG, a Ghanaian contemporary gospel musician, composer, and preacher, has issued a warning to social media users who use derogatory language while dealing with him.
Some internet users reacted angrily to the gospel singer’s remark on the just concluded #OccupyJulorbiHouse event.
MOG stated in the tweet that Ghanaians were partially to blame for the recent economic troubles.
Many people were offended by his remark, prompting varied reactions and attacks from online users.
These nasty comments angered the singer, resulting in his hostile response to one internet user.
The gospel singer noted in a UTV studio conversation that everyone has the right to their viewpoint and that it’s fine to disagree without resorting to insults.
He stated that, despite being a Christian, he would not tolerate disparaging statements from those who are incapable of polite speech.
“I don’t take silly comments likely, you can disagree with my opinion but don’t insult me. I’m not the average gospel musician, I will slam back when you jab at me. I’m also human when you push me to the wall I will react”
“I’m from the street, before becoming Christian. I try to control my attitude hence I don’t usually respond to such comments but I don’t take derogatory comments likely”
