Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), a veteran Nollywood actor, has stated that it is “very hard” for performers to stay faithful in marriage.
He claims that married male celebrities are frequently sought by needy women looking to entice them into adultery.
The 62-year-old actor made the remarks on the most recent episode of the Teju Babyface Deep Dive Podcast, which is hosted by comedian Olateju Oyelakin, aka Teju Babyface.
He compared women to the biblical characters Delilah and Jezebel, who overwhelm men by seduction.
RMD, as he is often known, admitted that faithfulness may be difficult, particularly for males in the entertainment business owing to the nature of their employment.
He stated that they are sometimes obliged to kiss or be in compromising positions with actresses, which demands a lot of self-control to stay in character.
He did, however, underline the need of reminding oneself of the institution of marriage and the reasons for choosing to be a part of it on a regular basis.
RMD believes that marriage is lovely and that one should avoid conditions that would put the partnership in jeopardy.
He emphasized the need of open communication, satisfaction, commitment, and a strong sense of purpose in order to have a long-lasting partnership.
