Akosua Agyapong, a popular Ghanaian female highlife musician, has stated that the notion of not having sex before marriage should be modified since it causes various issues in couples.
According to her, the conventional concept that engaged couples must refrain from sexually related activities until they marry must be reviewed and modified since it is producing a slew of issues in society.
The singer went on to give some arguments to back up her assertions, and she believes that sex before marriage helps both spouses discover any abnormalities in their sexual life so that they may both work on their flaws and avoid future problems in their marriage.

”They have to change that ‘no sex before marriage’. Dem for change am now. E dey cause problems a lot. Your man might be impotent, you might know. Maybe your woman too might me something else. It’s a problem o,” she said in pidgin.
Several netizens agreed with her, while others believe that keeping traditional values that urge abstinence is the best way forward.
