Camidoh’s new summer tune “Taxi Man” includes Vybz Kartel, Miss Lafamilia, and DJ Lara Fraser.
The tune and its remix created a hype around him as the next big thing, which led to his debut release, Contigency Plan (CP), a six-track EP that received positive feedback.
Camidoh’s big break, however, came in December, when he released the viral smash tune “Sugarcane.”
When the chart-topping “Sugarcane” remix featuring King Promise, Mayorkun, and Darkoo debuted in April 2022, Camidoh became one of the year’s most sought-after African stars.

Following the smash song, he released the “Sugarcane EP” and other important singles like as “Kaba” and “Slow” to further expand his influence across Africa and beyond.
Early this year, he became the second Ghanaian artist to be inducted into the renowned Golden Club of Boomplay, Africa’s largest music streaming and download platform, for attaining and exceeding a milestone of 100 million streams.
