The Ministry of Roads and Highways, through the Department of Urban Roads, has stated that traffic diversions are being implemented on the Accra-Tema highway as a result of the building of the bridge over the highway connecting Flowerpot to East Legon.
The Flowerpot Interchange project is responsible for the construction.
Motorists have been asked to use caution and travel at the appropriate speed limit while obeying traffic control signs.
6 height restriction gantries (4.5 meters) will be placed at various locations along the Accra Tema Motorway prior to reaching the construction zone.” Vehicles taller than 4.5 meters will be rerouted to depart the stretch using the specified route.”
As a result, the Ministry apologizes for any difficulty caused during the building process.
