Guru, a popular Ghanaian artist, has encouraged footballers to avoid sex before playing.
He said that only ‘unserious, aimless, and visionless’ sportsmen engage in sex before a game, and that it is better to focus on vital topics rather than worldly matters.
Guru said on Kumasi-based Angel FM:
“Every football with aim and vision will never have sex with a woman before going onto the field to play. We do what is more important than what pleases the world.”
It will be remembered that a Ghanaian athletic trainer, Francis Totti Laryea, stated that sex is extremely beneficial to football players.
He stated “Oh, yes! Sex is very good…As a player, you need to balance yourself. You can’t say that you are keeping your fitness level for a long time. No. You might even struggle on the field of play.
“During the season you will not have enough time to have sex but you have to release it before you start your pre-season”.
Laryea advised, “But they should stick to one woman…It’s not because I said sex is good so they would be hopping from one woman to another…no!”.
