Musician KiDi revealed that his life took a significant turn after he decided to take a break from music in March of this year.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, the popular ‘Odo’ hit-maker shared how the hiatus allowed him to reflect on various aspects of his life, particularly how to handle trolls and false news circulating on the internet.

KiDi’s mentality shifted dramatically during his vacation, resulting in personal growth and insight. He stated that he is not the same person he was in February, implying that he has grown positively during his time away from the spotlight.
During his hiatus, KiDi came to the idea that he should not take social media haters seriously.
He now realizes that many people who participate in nasty behavior online are likely projecting their frustrations and dissatisfaction onto others, including superstars like himself, he says.

“I now know that when people come on social media and say the things they say, it’s not really about me. Some of them are unhappy in life. If you are unhappy, you take that out on anything and everything,” he said.

KiDi also addressed his tough decision to cancel his US tour a few months ago in order to prioritize his health and well-being. The trip, which was scheduled to visit ten cities in the United States, had to be canceled due to health concerns. There were false reports that he had suffered a stroke, which he quickly refuted on his social media sites.KiDi stated that he is now fully recovered and ready to continue his musical passion after taking the required time to care for himself physically and mentally.
