In advance of the presidential primaries, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the flagbearer candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has issued a caution to the party.
The outspoken lawmaker claims that if some NPP members don’t stop insulting him, he will withdraw from the party’s campaign in 2024.
The Assin Central MP stated in an interview that if he is not chosen as the party’s flagbearer, he will travel to the United States of America.

“I’m telling you, if they continue the way they are going , big no. If they go the way they are going, when I lose, I will go back to America. You say you can win, win without Ken Agyapong.

“Let Adomako Baafi and all those guys go and do the campaign. You think I’m a fool to spend my money for these young guys to insult me? If they stop, fine. If they don’t, then count me out,” Ken Agyapong emphasized during an interview with Home Radio.

Agyapong insists that he is ready to lead the NPP into the 2024 general election, but he also makes it plain that he won’t consider losing the contest for flagbearer to be a huge setback.
He is adamant that delegates should support him because he has practical solutions to the many problems facing Ghanaians.
Ken Agyapong is one of the top three candidates among the ten candidates hoping to be the NPP’s flagbearer going into the 2018 elections.
