Blame the media for the demise of some Ghanaian musicians — Fresh Meddo

1 Min Read

Fresh Meddo, a Sierra Leonean Afropop performer located in the United States, believes the media is to blame for the demise of some Ghanaian musicians.
He claimed that the failure of some artists’ careers in the country is attributable to unfavorable news about these musicians rather than helping to promote their works.
He has recommended the media and entertainment industries to focus on developing the country’s up-and-coming artists.

“Help promote my works through your prestigious platforms, I need support from each and everyone on this live stream.
“Let me add this, we’ve been the cause of our downfall by making negative news surpass the positives in the public domain.
“I don’t want to be listed amongst those whose reign came to a standstill due to bad publicity,” Meddo stated.

He has, however, hinted at launching a new project after a long hiatus.
He created a stir and made waves with his debut album, “The Journey Album,” but then took a long break rather than releasing fresh material.
He discussed plans for a forthcoming project during an Instagram live session with his fans.
