Kumawood actor Oboy Siki has disclosed that he has made a deal with God to die in 2024.
The actor claims he chose this arrangement because he believes the film industry has nothing better to offer him, and he doesn’t want anyone to take credit for predicting or causing his death, therefore the choice to publicize the occurrence.
Kumawood actor Oboy Siki claimed in a recent interview with Kofi TV that once he began speaking negatively about the movie industry, he watched the problems of fellow actors who were unable to sustain themselves. This insight motivated him to approach God and ask to die at a certain age.
“When I started speaking negatively about the movie industry, I saw about 20 people who couldn’t make a decent living from it,” he explained. As a result, I begged God to grant me the age at which I would die. I received confirmation from God in a dream that He had consented to my prayer. As a result, the prospect of death has loomed over me.”
Oboy Siki expressed anxiety that if he died unexpectedly, pastors and Ghanaians would incorrectly attribute it to curses or foul play. He believes that only God has the ability to determine one’s lifespan.
“I disclosed this arrangement not to seek attention or sympathy but to ensure that no one claims to have foreseen my death or knows the cause,” He elaborated. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with the reception he has received thus far.
With the year 2024 in mind, Oboy Siki aims to make the required funeral and accompanying arrangements. He announced his aim to plan ahead of time, ensuring that all necessary issues are taken care of before his death.
