Bullgod, a talent manager and entertainment analyst, has debunked Fantana’s claim that she is Ghana’s biggest dancehall musician.
Fantana, who recently appeared in the Netflix series ‘Young, Famous, and African,’ claimed to be Ghana’s biggest dancehall musician, sparking an online debate among social media netizens and showbiz pundits.
Bullgod responded to Rich Gyal Anthem hitmaker’s allegation, noting that she does not have the repertoire to flaunt as the largest dancehall artiste.
According to his petition, every large artiste should have a repertoire, which Fantana does not have, hence she is not fit to be classified among Ghana’s biggest artists.
“If you weigh the matter, she is not. You need a lot of catalogs to do that…For somebody to say they are big, if Sarkodie says he is big, there are works to show, likewise, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy because there are works to show. Patapaa had one of the biggest songs in Ghana but he never ended up being a big artiste because he didn’t continue the catalog.
That’s what makes you an artiste and Fantana doesn’t have it. She is talented. She is beautiful. She has everything to be the biggest, maybe she is talking about her future. So, when she comes, she should put in the work,”
Francine Koffie, alias Fantana, was born on July 3, 1997 in America and is a Ghanaian singer, composer, and businesswoman.
Her rise to fame began in 2018 when she performed the well-known song Back Stabber.
