Kevin De Bruyne, a midfielder for Manchester City, is absent from his team’s matchday roster for Wednesday’s match against West Ham due to a persistent leg ailment.
The Belgian international missed Manchester City’s 2-1 victory against Fulham on Saturday after being forced off against Arsenal last week due to an injury. He hasn’t yet returned to training.

Next Tuesday’s semi-final first leg match between Manchester City and Real Madrid is scheduled, although De Bruyne’s participation has not yet been confirmed.
A day before the West Ham game, Guardiola told the media that De Bruyne “started to move but didn’t train with the team.”
De Bruyne was replaced toward the conclusion of Manchester City’s 4-1 victory over Arsenal last week after apparently telling the bench that he felt a pain in his leg, according to the team’s official website.
