Sevilla sack Gorge Sampaoli ahead of Man Utd Europa League quarter-final showdown with club sitting just TWO POINTS above La Liga Religation

In advance of their matchup with Manchester United in the Europa League quarterfinal, Sevilla has fired head coach Jorge Sampaoli.
Following Sevilla’s 2-0 La Liga loss to Getafe, which moved them two points above the religation zone, the Argentine manager was fired.
Sampaoli, who took over for Julen Lopetegui in October, managed 31 games throughout all competitions, recording 12 defeats, 6 ties, and just 13 victories.
According to AS, Sevilla will compensate him with a sum greater than €10 million (£8.7 million) for breaking his contract early.

The club’s official statement is as follows: “Sampaoli will no longer be in charge of today’s 18.00 training session, and the team is already working to find a replacement coach as soon as possible.
Jorge Sampaoli’s work and devotion to Sevilla FC are appreciated, and the club wishes him luck in the future.”
José Bordalas, the former manager of Valencia, and Jose Luis Mendilibar, the former manager of Alaves, are reportedly on the short list for Sevilla’s search for a replacement.
After the international break, Sevilla will play against Cadiz and Celta Vigo in La Liga before taking on Manchester United in the first leg of their quarterfinal Europa League match in april 13
