Kuami Eugene, a Ghanaian highlife and afro-pop musician, has apologized and repeated his recent claim that every woman wants a piece of him.
The highlife artist recently made headlines when he claimed in an interview that any woman who wanted to be his girl had to be tough and willing to make many sacrifices since other ladies wanted pieces of him. He stressed that his partner would not have the freedom and space to focus on their relationship since there would be gossips, backbiting, hostility, and insults from individuals who might also desire to have him to themselves because he is a public figure and everyone wants a piece of him.

“I am not dating… Right now, I know dating me will be very difficult. You should have a tough skin to date me. “Currently, women, girls, everyone, including men, want to have one person to themselves…If you wanna have me to yourself, it’s going to take some sacrifices because people won’t just allow you to,’’ he disclosed on ‘Stripped by Sika Ose
In contrary, he claimed in a recent interview with Kumasi-based radio station Hello FM that his statement had been misunderstood and misinterpreted.
“Since I continue to do music and remain a popular figure in Ghana I can’t assure you that people won’t say bad things about me or I won’t be attacked. That’s why I said if you are my partner get ready to receive your fair share of it and that’s what I meant by you should have a tough skin,” Kuami explained

“That’s what I mean by having tough skin but I don’t mean to say that I have plenty of girls chasing me so when you come and meet about 50 girls you should be tough. That’s not it because I have respect for women and I have respect for our people and I respect everybody that I come across,” he concluded.
