On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, a group of 23 female students from three different educational institutions in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency of Accra gave renowned Ghanaian actor turned politician John Dumelo Gh1,850.
During a brief ceremony yesterday in his office, the ladies, who are currently enrolled at the University of Ghana, Legon, University of Professional Studies, Accra, and Knustford University, presented the politician who hopes to represent the good people of Ayawaso West Wuogon in parliament with cash.
The financial sum represents a contribution to John’s political campaign in his second run for office as a member of parliament.
The well-known actor, who also works as a farmer and business owner, expressed his deep gratitude for the thoughtful deed on his social media pages and further urged the electorate to support making the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency considerably larger.

In the meantime, Fred Nuamah, John Dumelo’s old best buddy, has announced his intention to run for the position, therefore the two will compete in this year’s primary.
