The notion of Ghanaian singers making it to the Grammys is gradually becoming a reality, as they are now making movements rather than simply sitting.

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony featured a slew of recognized people from throughout the world, including prominent Ghanaian singers.


Not only were top-rated performers honored for their best albums, songwriting, and craft on the night, but others also had the opportunity of a lifetime to be acknowledged on stage.Ghanaian rapper Edem was among the many notable international personalities that walked the red carpet during the Academy’s 65th anniversary.

Taking to his own Twitter account to announce that he was also in attendance at the Academy Awards, The rapper used the occasion to network and gain some clout for their respective brands.


He was also photographed wearing an expensive outfit while posing in front of the Grammys’ memorial.
The musician afterwards found his fellow colleague Stonebwoy, who was also in attendance along the aisle, and they chatted while the event was on.
The rapper was also invited to the African Nominees Brunch, which took place at the Grammy Museum on February 5, 2023, ahead of the Grammy Awards.


Meanwhile, Rocky Dawuni lost out on the Best Global Music Performance award, which went to Zakes Bantwini, Nomcebo Zikode, and Wouter Kellerman for their collaboration ‘Bayethe’.
