Stonebwoy, a Ghanaian dancehall singer, has explained why the Nigerian music industry is ahead of the Ghanaian music industry on the international stage.
Stonebwoy, who has a fantastic relationship with Nigerian performers, claimed in an interview with BreakFast Club Show in America that the success of Nigerian musicians is due to their country’s large population.
The high population of Nigeria, according to Stonebwoy, boosts the industry. The singer also noted that Nigerian performers are tenacious, combative, industrious, and have a winning mindset.
Stonebwoy, on the other hand, stated that both countries inspire each other, which promotes their unique growth.
Stonebwoy also praised our local musicians for doing their best despite without the support and financial muscle that Nigerians have.
“It’s just recently that several of our performers had distribution deals with Sony and Universal music.
Our local musicians are working hard, and I believe that with them, they will be able to rub elbows with their Nigerian colleagues in the music industry.”
He stated this.
“Interestingly, every of their top-listers find inspiration in Ghana,” Stonebwoy continued.
