On January 19, 2003, Livingstone Etse Satekla, also known as Stonebwoy in entertainment circles, was involved in an accident that cost him his limbs.

Stonebwoy was traveling to Ashaiman from Accra in a vehicle with his father, twin brother, and elderly sister when the sad accident occurred on the Accra-Tema highway. Stonebwoy was hospitalized for six months after the automobile accident, and while he healed, his legs were damaged.

Stonebwoy travelled to Germany in May 2016 to get the abnormality in his limb fixed after walking with a limp in his right leg for several years.

“You opted to cover the expense of my surgery, for which I will be eternally grateful,” Stonebwoy tweeted.

Asamoah Gyan responded to the post by saying he was honored to be a part of Stonebwoy’s turnaround.
