Ghanaian actress and producer Yvonne Nelson believes that in order to bridge the gap between Ghanaian and Nigerian music, Ghanaian musicians should develop songs that appeal to Ghanaians’ tastes.
Ghanaian musicians, according to the actress, need to work harder and put in more effort in their profession.
In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, the actress stated that if artists produce outstanding music, Ghanaians will listen to and promote it.

Yvonne went on to say that Ghanaians will listen to songs written by local performers if they sound decent.

sHe stated that Ghanaians listen to Nigerian songs because they are appealing to them.The popular actress believes that if Ghanaian musicians do not improve, it will be difficult to reduce the dominance of Nigerian songs in the country.
