In the general election of 2024, it appears that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has already won the winning seat. The NPP representative encouraged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to forget about winning the upcoming general elections while sending a message of support to the opposition party.
“2024 is a foregone conclusion, we would win the election with the wider margin that will confront the NDC not to make an attempt to even appear before the Supreme Court,” he said on Saturday. While wishing the NDC an event-free national delegate’s congress, the representative teased, “We need a healthy NDC, we don’t want to defeat a limping horse.”
A few violent disruptions marred last week’s NDC Women’s Organiser and National Youth Organiser Congress in Cape Coast. Since then, the authorities have offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
The new National Youth Organiser is Mr. George Opare Addo. He defeated Brogya Gyenfi’s challenge. The position of National Women’s Organiser was gained by Dr. Hannah Louisa Bissiw. Margaret Ansei was her main rival.
