Rappers Pappy Kojo and Joey B from Ghana were best friends, but for the past six years, they have drifted apart for reasons that only they know.
When asked if he was prepared to make amends with his former pal during a recent interview, Pappy Kojo had this to say when he appeared on Friday, December 9, 2022, on 3 Music TV’s Culture Daily show.
Pappy responded emphatically with “no” and said that he wouldn’t do it even if he was going to make a lot of money doing it.“Me I don’t want to work with him anymore, I’m good,” he said.
But Pappy said he’s no longer of the opinion that Sarkodie’s request for a collaboration with Joey B and he (Pappy Kojo) is the only way they may work together.
Back in 2019, rumors about their alleged quarrel generated a lot of media attention and conversation.
Pappy Kojo recently revealed the circumstances of what truly caused their divorce on a Twitter area where he opened up to the public.
The “Realer No” singer confessed that after 2015, he no longer had any form of appropriate relationship with Joey B. He made this disclosure when speaking on the space of Firesticks back in March 2022.
He claimed that this was because Pappy Kojo refused to leave Snypa and Akitiwroro when Joey urged him to do so, leading Joey B to decide to give him some space.
He continued by saying that he was so upset over this incident at the time that he had to cry on numerous occasions and even complain vehemently to Joey B’s manager.
