Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, widely known as Funny Face, confirmed his father’s death in the early hours of December 7, 2022, in a statement on his social media sites.
On Wednesday, the comedian made a sad and emotional revelation on his Instagram page, revealing that he and his brothers are still trying to absorb the loss.
The letter’s final sentence was a request to his deceased father, who had gone to live with the Lord, to keep an eye out for him and all of his other sisters.
“I never got to say goodbye. This your death has hit me hard .. You were gone before I knew it and only GOD knows why… why did you leave SOO SOON ! You have left us broken DAD .. Till we meet again .. REST IN PEACE DADDY. Continue to watch over me and my sisters .. hmmm,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, a slew of celebs, including Beverly Afaglo, Guru, Andy Dosty, Reggie Zippy, and others, have flooded the comment area under Funny’s post to express their sympathies.
