Inaki Williams, born in Spain, was one of five players to switch allegiances to Ghana five months before the World Cup.
He goes on to say that playing in a World Cup is only for the best players. As a result, he is overjoyed to have the opportunity to represent Ghana at the world’s largest football tournament.
“The stay here is an honour for me. My family is in the sky. I think this is an opportunity for top players. I came here to help Ghana and all my teammates and I’m very happy for the stay here.”
The Black Stars finished third in Group H with three points after losses to Portugal and Uruguay in between their win over South Korea.
