Blueface, a rapper, was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday in connection with a gunshot that occurred in the city last month, according to police.The 25-year-old Los Angeles-based musician, whose real name is Jonathan Porter, was arrested outside of a Lo-Chicken Lo’s & Waffles.Blueface was arrested while sitting on a bench outside the restaurant, gazing at his phone, according to video obtained by TMZ.
Plainclothes officers stormed in and handcuffed him while his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, looked on in disbelief.The “Thotiana” rapper was detained on October 8 for a gunshot along Las Vegas Boulevard and Sunset Road, according to police.
He was arrested at the Clark County Detention Center on outstanding warrants for attempted murder with a dangerous weapon and discharging a pistol inside an occupied premises.
Days after the incident, he posted on Instagram a music video set in jail and a trial.
Earlier this year, during a traffic stop in Hollywood, the rapper was detained with a loaded gun.
In 2019, he was also detained for having a loaded, unregistered gun.
Blueface controversially recorded himself driving around Los Angeles’ Skid Row in 2019 and throwing stacks of $100 notes onto homeless people who anxiously tried to pick up the cash.
