The Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) for this year will be administered to 569,095 Candidates at 2,123 approved centers nationwide starting today.
They will terminate on July 15, 2024, a Monday.
In a statement released on Sunday, July 7, the Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) commended the candidates for their perseverance and hard work and thanked all stakeholders, teachers, directors of education, heads of basic schools, parents, and guardians for their vital contributions to the candidates’ exam preparation.
“Candidates, Invigilators, Supervisors, Schools Authorities, Teachers and Parents are advised to desist from any form of examination malpractice. GES, WAEC and the Security Services are working jointly to ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations at all the centres across the country.”
Parents, candidates and the general public are informed that the school selection process will commence after the BECE. Details of the selection process will be communicated in due course,” it further stated.
