According to Professor Joshua Alabi, the campaign manager for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Mahama, the failure of the Akufo-Addo government reduces the threat of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to the NDC’s victory in the upcoming general elections.
According to Professor Alabi, Vice President Bawumia’s economic theories have not produced any beneficial results worthy of voters’ faith.
Speaking to Citi News after being reappointed as the NDC’s campaign manager for 2024, Professor Alabi stated that Bawumia and the NPP are no match for John Dramani Mahama.
“If someone promises you one village, one dam, and you don’t see it, one constituency, one million dollars, one child, and one chocolate, you don’t see it. One child, one laptop; you don’t notice it, and they are useful items. If you don’t see any progress, Ghanaians have had enough of Dr. Bawumia and his economic theories.
“We all know the performance of John Dramani Mahama when he was in office, the massive infrastructural development he did. I am very confident that we will get our flagbearer to the seat of government.”
