In December, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo reaffirmed his pledge to guarantee a free, fair, and transparent election.
The President claims that he would oversee a poll in December that is free of incidents and whose results are universally acknowledged.
Speaking during this year’s May Day festivities, President Akufo Addo declared that the government would supply the Electoral Commission with all the tools required to ensure a seamless election process.
“As we approach the upcoming elections in 2024, it is imperative that we recognize the crucial importance of maintaining peace and stability throughout the electoral process.
“Elections are the cornerstone of democracy and every one of us has a role to play to ensure that our electoral process is free, fair, transparent, and devoid of violence.”
