Hip-life legend Reggie Rockstone has advocated for a drastic strategy to address Ghana’s and Africa’s overall economic problems.
According to him, the continent is experiencing serious cases of imperialism and neocolonialism, which is making the economic situation worse.
When asked about more harsh measures to address the economic crisis, Rockstone suggested imprisoning or even killing those who caused it, especially those who continued to live opulent lives at the expense of the general public.
“Africa is at a standstill, and Ghana is struggling. I don’t want to hear about political parties; we need a complete overhaul. Some individuals need to be held accountable. That’s the only way forward for us, as black people. We need to set an example. Some people need to face consequences, even if it means imprisonment or worse,”
He made the argument that, despite how dire things are right now, people are more interested in music and entertainment than in important concerns because they are readily misled by sensational ones.
