Empress Gifty Adorye, also known as Empress Gifty, an award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, has encouraged young unmarried ladies who are engaged with married men to prevent pregnancy.
While advising’side chicks’, the ‘Aseda’ hitmaker did not condemn the conduct, noting that it is nothing new and “in the bible.” However, she recommended the ladies engaging in such an act to refrain from becoming pregnant.
The crooner and fashionista once said, “If you are a side chick, don’t get pregnant for somebody’s husband.”
When asked if it is appropriate for’side chicks’ to pursue married guys, she replied, “There are plenty in the Bible. Go read about Abraham; it is not a new thing.”
“But I am saying do not go for somebody’s husband and get pregnant for them,” she reiterated on TV3’s New Day on March 18, 2024.
She went on to say that her belief is already written in the Bible, which states that if a’side chick’ gives birth for a married man, he will dump the’side chick’.
“…if you get pregnant or gives birth for him [the married man], he will discard you,” She added.
According to her, some married men are drawn to side chicks because God has designated them as helpers to assist some’side chicks’ in financial hardship.
“Sometimes married men are destined to be helpers or supporters for side chicks who are facing difficulties in life. TThey are not to be separated from their brides. Empress Gifty advised’side chicks’ not to take them from their wives and instead play around.
Empress Gifty says that certain married men may be meant to financially assist needy women, but advises’side chicks’ to avoid interfering in marriages and instead play it safe.
