Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, better known by his stage name Lil Win, has responded to a viral video in which he can be seen verbally abusing actress Martha Ankomah.
Lil Win asserted during an appearance on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that the aforementioned video, which set off a lot of rumors, was a scene from a film he was producing.
He explained that the excerpt making the rounds on the internet was misinterpreted.
“The video I did is a movie. I was acting… I was not angry. I had done some makeup,”
He clarified, making it clear that he intended to let lawyers handle the issue’s resolution.
Lil Win is being sued by Martha Ankomah for allegedly damaging her reputation. A copy of the writ of summons shows that Martha, the plaintiff, is pleading with the Accra High Court to award her damages for the defendant’s defamatory remarks, in the amount of five million Ghana cedis.
In addition, she wants reimbursement for the harm done to her reputation.
Lil Win is required by the writ to answer to the accusations in person at the court within eight days.
Lil Win declared, “I want to go international,” indicating his desire to push professional boundaries internationally. The investors ought to visit and accompany me there.”
He emphasized his resolve to reach new professional heights and urged cooperation and solidarity among members of the industry.
